This evening the Duchess of Earle shares a favorite poem - she especially likes the last verse - with her readers, in hopes that it will inspire them the way it has her for many years. Enjoy!
A Psalm of Life
What the heart of the young man said to the psalmist
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream! --
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.
Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.
In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!
Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act, -- act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o'erhead!
Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;
Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o'er life's solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.
Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
-- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Well, dear readers, the Duchess of Earle got a call from a member of Loral Langemeier’s staff this afternoon, asking if she’d like to promote Loral’s new book. The Duchess said she’d love to put out the info. So watch this blog for more info in the coming days and weeks.
Until the new information comes, you can always click on the links to Loral’s sites that are on the left - go ahead! Check ‘em out!
The Duchess of Earle just crossed paths with a saying that impresses her today - one of those unattributed things that pops up in one’s life and arrests one’s attention. This idea is spurring the Duchess on this morning - and that’s a good thing. Actually, that’s a GREAT thing! :) Matter of fact, it’s so great that she thought she’d immediately post it here for sharing, in hopes that it will spur her readers on to plan their work and work their plan:
The Duchess also located the video of the day after the interview on the Today show. The group came back for an on-air bridal party processional for the cameras and the enthusiastic onlookers. This is such fun! It’s late as the Duchess writes, but rest assured that she’s dancing right with them down the aisle - at least in her heart! Come join us! Have you got the beat? Are you ready? …Here we go - step-ping o-u-t! :) Party hearty, Bridal Party!
Well, dear readers, the Duchess of Earle thinks it’s just too much to pass up not to share with you - just in case you’ve not seen it or heard of it - the entrance of the bridal party here in St. Paul, Minnesota, a week ago. What a great celebratory way to enter the church! Watch, friends and enjoy!
Well, it’s late, but the Duchess of Earle is arriving at Steve Renner’s office in Bloomington, MN, for a Tuesday evening meeting. It’s been awhile since she’s found her way here on a Tuesday - or even a Saturday, as life has been just a bit too booked. Mr. Renner used to have a live meeting every week, but then altered his pattern and adopted a “meeting in a secret location” strategy for some months, which rather altered the Duchess’ schedule and allowed other things to creep into her schedule and overtake this Tuesday evening slot. But she’s been in attendance online when possible.
Anyway, Steve is in full swing describing the iNetGlobal business when the Duchess arrives. As she sets up her computer and gets ready to relay the events of the evening in this blogpost, she notices that the room holds a small number of other guests. It was announced at the end of last Saturday morning’s meeting that Annie from Toronto would be here on Tuesday evening and she is indeed present, wearing a cute black and white outfit. Alongside of her sit two other people - a man and a woman of Asian heritage - whose identities are unknown to the Duchess. Jim Eng, one of the local leaders, is also here, along with omnipresent Jonathan, Steve’s assistant, who mans the computer and the cameras.
After finishing the presentation of the business plan, Steve takes us to Acesse.com, which is the iNetGlobal search engine, for a short tour.
Next, he talks about getting started in iNetGlobal, saying it’s A-B-C,1-2-3 easy: A) sign up, B) get your distributor kit and C) get started surfing. It’s that easy, that simple. Then, to start building your team, 1) find one person to join the program as a consultant. Then find 2) another and 3) another - and now you’ve gotten to the Executive level. If you add those people to your team and help them do the same thing you’ve just done, you’ll build a business in iNetGlobal and be able to make money. It’s possible to build a million dollar business with this company, as many are well on their way to proving. The global Chinese community in particular is doing well at demonstrating this. Annie from Toronto has really been building her team, not just in Canada, but in China itself.
If you’re new to this program, you can get started with the purchase of the Consultant kit for $59.95 USD. There is a professional support team that will help you get started and help your people do the same. If you want to begin with the small business package, there is a special match of 500 advertising packs. And there are other matches for the larger packages as well, which the Duchess will not attempt to duplicate here - she can’t type as fast as Steve can talk!
Steve now asks for comments from those present about their experience with the company. So first, Jim Eng gets up to say he’s doing nicely with the company as he approaches his first anniversary, which comes at the end of this month. This makes the Duchess realize that, to the best of her recollection, this very day is the anniversary of the launch of iNetGlobal’s AdPacs program. The Duchess signed up for it on July 23rd last year and recalls being surprised to learn they’d already been taking funds for two days - so she jumped in immediately. Steve next invites the Duchess to speak and share her iNetglobal story, which she does. He introduces her with the comment that she really didn’t know much about computers when she first came to his training class in December of 2007. She pipes up to say that she did know how to email and search on a search engine, but that was about it. She really didn’t even have a clue about packing up her machine to bring to a meeting and getting it set up once she got there. In those days, she relied on her beloved Duke for that detail - but she has long since managed to handle that on her own. So she shares how she got started, that she learned a lot through the MIT Training and finally got her blog started in February/March of 2008. She offers the information that her iNetGlobal AdPacs organization grew quite nicely right from the beginning, that as a result of her blogging her business went international when people in the UK signed up under her and that her earnings paid for their share of the expenses for their son’s wedding last fall. Then Steve invites the mystery man to speak. He turns out to be Dr. Lee - or is it Dr. Li? (The Duchess frankly isn’t sure about the spelling and herein humbly begs the dear Doctor’s forbearance for her ignorance. But for the sake of being able to proceed with this writing she’ll spell it Lee, and repair it if she learns otherwise.) Dr. Lee, who is here accompanied by his bride, has driven here from Chicago; he steps up and offers remarks. Lastly, Steve invites Annie to speak. She is a single mom who works from home. She has “incredible focus,” says Steve. He met her in Miami last summer at the iNetGlobal rally - and she just went home and exploded her business. She does six webinars a week and last night’s webinar had 200 people on it. She also regularly runs trainings for her people.
Annie tells how, after she joined the company, she learned the products and the compensation plan and then just shared them with a few of her friends. They shared with their friends and things took off. She says it’s easy to understand, easy to do and share. She offers webinars every day and trains in addition to the presenting the business opportunity. Now she has many businesss leaders around the world. They have a wonderful platform for online advertising, and if you have your own business, the company can give you the place from whence to market it. This is a “golden mine,” she says, both now and into the future. She brings the thanks of all her team to Steve for creating this wonderful business opportunity, so that they can all make a good living.
Steve takes the floor again and talks about how he started the business. A little over a decade ago, he’d never owned or even been on a computer. He was painting houses for a living, but had a desire to do something else to earn his keep. As he got familiar with computers, he started teaching himself how to design a website and then progressed way beyond that to making milllions of dollars on the internet. “If I can do it, anybody can do it!” he asserts. “I’m not highly educated. There are a few things that you need to know to be successful online. The best thing you can do is to gain knowledge. The more you learn, the better you’ll be! Those that are making money online these days are mostly young and very, very smart - and they’re out there making millions. They’re barely old enough to shave! I’m a grandfather, but still making money online.” He’s working to build a nice residual income for himself and his grandchildren. This is possible for anyone that builds a business in iNetGlobal, as it is becoming for Steve himself. He predicts that iNetGlobal and Acesse will be household names that everybody recognizes, just as Google and Microsoft are widely known today.
Well, says Steve, that’s the presentation for the day: If you want to build this, you can run your own webinars, as Annie does - and it’s bringing her “a couple thousand bucks a day.” Otherwise, get people on the iNetGlobal calls and we’ll help you build your businesss.
For our information Jim Eng has a webinar tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22, at 2:00 PM Central time, on the business plan. At 3:00 Central time tomorrow afternoon there will be leadership training. The next company-sponsored webcast will be Saturday morning here at 9:00 Central time. The link for that last meeting is www.instantpresenter.com/upline1 and the password is imtrain.
So that’s a wrap - at least that’s what the Duchess thought. As it turns out, it’s only a break - during which Steve sits down to touch base with her, since they’ve not had a chance to chat of late. But then it becomes apparent there is more on the agenda: Annie is to make a presentation in Chinese to her leadership group.
Soon, she starts her presentation. She talks a bit and then introduces Steve to the group. He comes to the front of the room and Annie vacates her chair for him. Dr. Lee then kindly comes forward to sit in as translator: Steve talks, then Dr. Lee offers the Chinese version and they alternate their way through the information that follows. Steve explains that they’re having to do much work to bring things up to speed for the growing membership. We’re now approaching a total membership of 10,000, which is up from the 2,000 we had and is requiring upgrades in servers and software programming. There was an experiment conducted which, as it turned out, failed to calculate the commissions correctly. They are in the process of correcting the errors in the programming and he asks everyone’s patience as they build a system that will handle the increasing demands made upon it. (They expect as many as 100,000 members in the near future.) Once this is fixed, they will back to paying commissions on a normal basis. He thanks everyone for their patience while it’s being worked on.
Annie comes back to make some additional comments. She then introduces Jim Eng, who comes to the front of the room to make his remarks. Dr.Lee comes to sit alongside Mr. Eng and they work as before. First off, he expresses appreciation to the people that are listening in, acknowledging their hard work for the company. He also comments on how hard Steve and his team are working for us all to build the company so that it will serve us well. The search engines are powerful and offer a huge opportunity to build a fruitful business for us all. The best part of iNetGlobal is in the future - the next six months in particular will be big. If possible be at the next conference, which will likely be in Las Vegas.
While Jim talks and Dr. Lee translates, Annie sidles up alongside the Duchess and quietly invites her to speak to the group. While she certainly feels honored, the Duchess also is a bit stunned and hardly knows what to think that she’d say. Annie encourages her and next thing she knows, the Duchess is on her way to the front of the room. Dr. Lee once again graciously interprets. Well, the Duchess can’t recall all that she said, except that she felt quite honored to be invited and to welcome everybody to this meeting and encourage them to build their businesses. Steve encouraged her to mention her blog, which she did. When Annie sits back down, the question comes from the listeners about the address of the Duchess’ blog, so she comes back to the front and types it into the computer. (She’d like to say thank you to those that were so kind as to be interested enough to ask to visit this blog. It will be an honor to have you do so. )
After Annie wraps up, she comes back to thank those that have spoken. With a charming smile, she takes the Duchess’ hand and says, “Now you’ll be famous in China!” This makes the Duchess giggle a bit, as she has never really expected to be called “famous” - let alone in far-off China! As she looks back on the events of the year and a half since she took her first MIT Training, she is amazed to find herself doing things she’d never have dreamed. “Whodathunk” the events of this evening! Certainly not the Duchess!
In response to her question about the Chinese team reading her blog, Annie and Dr. Lee both assure the Duchess that many Chinese-speaking people read English quite well. So to the Chinese members of the iNetGlobal team, please know you are welcome here. If you look around, you will find notes from Mr. Renner’s MIT Trainings and those may be of some help to you as you launch your own internet blogs and businesses. You will also find this lady “has her fingers in a lot of pies” and sometimes posts things just for the fun of it or because they impressed her spirit. Hope you find things both useful and inspiring. Enjoy! If she knew how to say “Come again!” in Chinese, she would - but she’ll settle for sending the message conveyed in the video below, in wishing prosperity to all:
Well, it’s midnight and the Duchess of Earle is almost ready to climb the wooden hill to catch a little shut-eye, but she cannot resist logging into her blog to share this video with her readers. It is one that was shared with her today by a friend and business associate. She finds it a valuable and encouraging reminder of what every one of us is all about. So, even when the going gets tough, hang in there, friends! The Duchess believes that, because our tapped and untapped abilities and possibilities are so great, there really isn’t a one of us that couldn’t do more than we’re doing. So, as another business associate likes to say, “Go forth and conquer!” Even in these most trying times, what ever it is you need to do, you CAN do it! :)
Well, friends, the Duchess of Earle is just quickly posting to let you know that the new and long-awaited merged website for iNetGlobal and AdPacs and iNetSurf has happened today. She cordially invites you to check out the new look!
“Pretty nippy for the last day of February!” says the Duchess of Earle to herself as she rolls off her driveway headed for Steve Renner’s iNetGlobal launch meeting this morning. It’s zero degrees Farenheit on a day that would, on average, be up around thirty degrees.
Today is a very special day for iNetGlobal because it marks the day iNetGlobal emerges from its pre-launch stage. It’s such a big day that the boss himself has decided to don a suit and tie! Impressive!
People arrive and the room begins to fill. The Duchess checks in online to see who is there - and finds there are people from around the world that have checked in to see what’s up today. (By the way, the Duchess sends a shout out to S.E. in the UK - nice to see you with us today!)
Steve begins to discuss the story of his company. It’s coming up on being eleven years old this coming month. They’ve gone from just a little “one horse” operation to a training company to a company that focuses on online advertising. Last year, online advertising was up 30 billion dollars from the previous year, so there is a veritable ton of opportunity. iNetGlobal now has its own search engine called Acesse.com and it is expected to become the fourth largest search engine. All the ads on the other major search engines are all sold by Google and the difference for Acesse is that iNetGlobal is selling its own advertising on its own search engine.
iNetSurf is the permission-based phase of the company. Members can surf other members’ businesses, get acquainted and do business together.
V-Local is the local advertising arm that gets businesses ranked on the search engines. Other yellow pages type companies may buy advertising for a company that gets them to the first page of search results, but the minute the advertising dollar is spent, the listing is gone. The important V-Local difference is that the company’s website is getting listed on the web, so that it will show up on search results. This is a huge - and crucial - difference that gives the V-Local advertiser benefits that are head-and-shoulders above those of its competitors.
Mr. Renner runs through the other services that iNetGlobal offers: IMTrain (internet marketing training), V-shops, V-Webcast (webcasting service), V-Mail (autoresponder).
He goes back to the subject of V-Local. It’s able to be self-managed: one can put up photos, videos, coupons, people can sign up for your business - it’s so complete it could be all the website that a company needs. All clients’ sites are getting search engine optimized. Businesses can have V-Local personnel do the videos, if they wish, and then V-Local staff will perform the service of putting up the videos in all the right places on the web.
The new iNetGlobal site is all-inclusive - no longer will members have to go to multiple sites to manage all aspects of their iNetGlobal membership. This new site isn’t live yet, but Renner expects to have it up and running in the coming week - so the Duchess encourages you to watch for it and check it out when it appears.
Steve mentions that they’re adding spiders to the indexing force, so that they will be indexing 180,000,000 pages a month. He may even ramp it up more to speed up the process of getting the search engine up to speed, so that the results of the Acesse.com search engine are as good and thorough as the results on a Google search.
Centerfield’s, the restaurant where the iNetGlobal party will be held at the end of this coming month, is going to run a coupon special for the launch party - a two-for-one drink coupons that can be printed at home and brought in for the party.
He shares the story of how a local upscale car dearlership noticed the V-Local presence this week, called up the home office and requested a visit from Renner’s representative - and he was so impressed that not only did he want one listing, but one for each department of the business!
There are different levels of service for your business with V-Local. The Duchess confesses that she was unable to get them all down fast enough, but promises that she’ll get the info into a post one of these days.
Every iNetGlobal member gets a V-Local listing for their business - they can create coupons that will help bring people in.
They’re also creating online text ads that will go to your cell phone. There will be a charge for that, just as there would be for other advertising. There will also be a way to surf ads from your cell phone - this is great for people in countries where not many people have computers, but where they do have cell phones. This will be a way to grow the company that will be huge.
Steve asks for questions and the one that comes is: “How do you get paid?” So he launches into the marketing plan.
To get started in the business, one must first sign up as a Preferred Customer and purchase $20 in product per month. The next step is to purchase a Consultant Kit at $59.95. In includes a number of things, including one year access to the back office. You get points credited to you for everything you purchase/sell and
Being a preferred Customer means increase commissions,, double fast-start bonus cash, double advertising bonucs= credits, 100% matching AdPacs (iPoints/Credits), hosting, training, turnkey businesses (all the products and services that iNetGlobal offers, including the soon-to-be-operative travel business).
Then you choose your package to get started:
$150 Starter Package
$500 Professionsal Package
$1000Executive Package
$2000 Deluxe Package
All Consultants earn money based on sales. Some of it comes in the form of rebates, some in commissions, some in rewards and bonuses.
The company is really based on recruiting one or two people. If you refer two people, you can move up in the program and earn more money.
There are six ways to earn:
1 - Retail Sales Commissions
2 - Fast Start Bonuses
3 - Revenue Sharing
4 - Residual Income
5 - Leadership Bonus
6 - Royalty Bonus
This plan creates residual income, if one works it. So what is that, you may ask? Residual income is the concept of making a sale one time, but getting paid over and over for that same sale. He cites the old Columbia House record advertising campaigns wherein one received several records for a penny - and then they’d send you one record a month until you cried “Uncle!” and cancelled your $9.95 billing. This is a form of residual income and he really wants to get this idea through his members’ heads - 70% of the money that comes to the company gets paid right back out to the member marketing force. Get people started on this and they’ll be with you a long time, just the way Columbia House records did.
People ask why he’ll give so much on the front end of the offer to the marketing forces - it’s because he knows the lifetime value of the customer and it’s the residual value of the business they bring to the company’s sales team. It comes in like clockwork, whether they work or not. The slide on the screen shows a group offering a potential $16,000 income per month - in a business that grew ideally (which means it’s picture-perfect and that the members underneath you grew equally in all legs - which doesn’t normally happen, of course. This is just for the sake of example of potential.). But what if you failed 90% and only did 10% of that? Would 1600 per month make a difference for you and your family? What about those in Africa? $1600 a month is more than the president of some of those countries makes per month. What if some living in a grass hut were to earn $800/mo. with iNetGlobal? Would that make a difference in their lives? One would surely think so…
Today’s special offer is a Matching Bonus of up to 120%, depending upon the package you choose to purchase. The offer is good through the end of March and is as follows:
Starter Package = 20% Match
Professional = 50% Match
Executive = 100% Match
Deluxe = 120% Match
He shares the news of a fellow in China - doesn’t even speak English - that got into iNetGlobal on Monday and by Thursday was cashing out $875.00 in earnings.
If a member signs up later in the month, that purchase qualifies them for auto pay for the coming month. He cites the example of signing up on the 20th of the month and not having to re-order again right away - you’re qualified for that month as well.
Steve fields other questions - a wide variety of them. Then he moves to wrap up the meeting, thanking everybody for coming to share this new day for iNetGlobal. Things are going to be really moving come Monday - it’s a new day for iNetGlobal.
Then he steps over, picks up his guitar case. He removes the instrument, tunes it up and then begins to play. After a song, he starts again - and then bursts into song. It’s a happy-type love song, a good and upbeat tone to strike for the close of a good meeting.
The Duchess signs off today with an invitation to you to check out her iNetGlobal site, both today and when the new site launches, which is expected to happen within the next week or two.
